ChrisSkor
I wanted an easy way to look down and quickly determine my speed. The BMW R1200RT orange speed lights are so bright hard to see the speed needle. Here is a trick I discovered. I place small strip of black tape over the 60mi (100km) mark. During the day, quick glance down, and I can see if my speed needle is below, on or above the black mark. At night, same thing, but now the 60 mark is blacked out. Take a look at the pictures. Tony_K
If that is duct tape... you're going to regret that placement, big time. Link to comment
Joe Frickin' Friday
Get a GPS, and you'll never use the bike's speedo again. Link to comment
CoarsegoldKid
To quickly determine my speed I glance at the speedo. I do the same thing with all my vehicles. I've gotten accustomed to this method. Link to comment
