12R12RT, Sena, Zumo 660, phone - I did it!

OK, I don't know if this has been done before (did search; I'm sure it has...) I managed to get my RT, Sena, Zumo, and my phone all talking.

 

I paired the Sena SMH10 to the RT with the A2DP protocol, and thanks to Dan5620 it even sounds good.

 

Then I paired the Zumo to the phone, no big deal there.

 

The Zumo was then paired to the Sena using Hands Free Protocol. Now I can listen to the RT system in stereo, but can make a call using the Zumo to control the phone. The phone call overrides the stereo input, then comes back when the phone call is over.

 

Don't know yet if I will be able to hear the GPS turn-by-turn instructions; gotta go for a ride.

 

I think it might be impossible to be able to listen to the Zumo's mp3 player, but I'm thinking on that. Might be able to cable it to the input jack in the glove box....

 

I think I'm just dumb; it shouldn't have been that hard.

For some reason the turn-by-turn instructions don't come through.

 

However, I connected the Zumo audio-out to the RT's audio-in and can get turn-by-turn that way. The only drawback is that I can't use the RT's audio system while using turn-by-turn, but can listen to the Zumo's mp3 player.

 

Still searching for something a bit more elegant...
