Garmin SP 2720 Map Update

I've got a Streetpilot 2720 with City Navigator NT 2008 maps that came with the unit when I bought it. Garmin had a Thanksgiving sale so I bought a download of the latest map NT 2012.

 

Problem is the 2720 only showed about 800MB of free space and I don't see how to remove the 2008 maps to clear enough space to load the whole thing. I loaded about half the US and now I have both sets of maps in the GPS with only the 2012 maps enabled.

 

Anybody know how I get rid of the NT 2008 maps to load all of the new one?

I found Garmin's customer service people to be very knowledgeable and friendly.

Call their 800 #.

They'll gladly walk you thru the process.

Just be sure to have unit in front of you at your computer so you'll be ready for the instructions.
