Steve Kolenda
An article in the January 2012 BMW Owners News caught my attention. It was a written about adjustments made to improve comfort to a 2010 R1200RT. Having had issues in the past with my wrist I was interested to see that the author had added heavy bar end weights from Manic Salamander which he indicated made a significant improvement in vibration. Anyone have experience with replacing the standard bar ends with ones which weigh more and is there truly a noticeable difference? Thanks in advance. Link to comment
Danny caddyshack Noonan
Yes but, not on a beemer. Did it on a dirt bike or quad. Lead bar in the ends. It is physics based since the natural frequency of an item is directly related to mass and stiffness. Link to comment

Another thing that reduced vibration in the bars was a pair of grip puppies Link to comment
