RPG Posted May 4, 2012 Share Posted May 4, 2012 Have been running RoadSmart's on my '04 RT for some time now. Very happy with them. I see Dunlop just came out with the RS 2. I need a new front. I would like to update to the RS2 front, while my new RS1 on the rear wears out, then update that as well. Any advice appreciated, RPG Link to comment
racer7 Posted May 5, 2012 Share Posted May 5, 2012 Unless your older tires are very badly worn to the point of impacting handling anyway I doubt you could tell any difference. Not that I've done exactly what you intend to but I have mixed RoadSmart and PR-2 for example.(At present I'm on PR-3 sets and haven't had a chance to try the new Road Smarts- I liked the older ones a lot but prefer the somewhat more linear handling of the Michelins (got a rounder profile) to the more rapid turn in of the RoadSmart.
