bobmorris
Have run into a problem direct wiring my Garmin Nuvi 1350 to my R1200 RT-P battery using a Powerlet PPC -015 wiring set up. I find that the Garmin will not trigger the unit charging system, I understand that there is a work around that solves this problem. Can any one help me out with this? Bob Morris Link to comment
hopz
Bob (?) is this Bob Morris of Florida fame? But I digress... I do not understand your question. If you find a 12 volt source it should operate the GPS when the 12 volts are present... no matter if you are running through a powerlet or fuse box or any thing else. and... I do not understand "Garmin not triggering the unit charging system" the Garmin will charge when 12v is present... no triggering involved. Link to comment

bobmorris
Davin: Picked up todays mail and there was a replacement PPC 15 cable. I immediately hooked it up and every thing worked just like it is supposed to. My many thanks to Powerlet for their prompt assistance and the issuance of a replacement unit.
