Installing Zumo 660 on 99 R1100RT

Greetings. I need some advice on installing a Zumo 660 on a 99 R1100RT. I have decided to go with an un-switched power source, so what I need is to see how others have routed the cable and where they have picked up the 12v from (battery, other source, etc.). I also would like to know if they have brought the other cables (mini-usb, microphone and headphone jack) back to the seat area or left them somewhere up front around the handlebar/ front fairing area. Thanks very much.....

I rerouted a 665 harness last weekend in prep for bike sale in case I have to defarkle it. I sent power up to the front of the frame to connect to the harness. Coiled up the balance of the 665 harness and stuffed it on the left side of the frame inboard of the tank.

A coat hanger, bent straight, works well as fish tape.

Previously, the unused portion was coiled up just behind the alternator when I was taking the power lines all the way to the battery and giving power from a relay that was switched by the alternator blue wire.
