RT1200 gps to I phone pigtail

Has anyone used the GPS pigtail to power up an I Phone 5

Have a 2009 RT1200R assume this is same for all GS/RT's

I run a handheld radio at 5W ERP off that connector by the headstock - so I guess there should be no problem with the appropriate cable

Got rid of my IPhones and didn't run it that way..

But an IPhone draws so little juice its not going to matter so have at it.

 

FWIW, I kept the phone in an electrified tank bag which also had an outlet on its rear to pull in my electric jacket. The bag was connectged to the factory 10A outlet on my 08 RT.
