Plasterman Posted April 10, 2013 Share Posted April 10, 2013 I have the G4 right now. Looks like the G9 has more features and bigger speakers. Anyone have the G4 and upgraded to the G9? I want to keep the G4 and just upgrade to the G9's mic and audio kit. Has anyone done this? If so, did it help with the audio quality? Tom Link to comment
racer7 Posted April 10, 2013 Share Posted April 10, 2013 A BT headset is a BT headset... I've owned several generations of the Scala stuff including the two you mention. G4/G9 differences are minimal. Biggest improvements from Q2 to G4 were battery life, a bit of range and improved pairing control. Get in ear speakers and wire them in if you want really decent sound for music. Anything else will be marginal... Link to comment
