Michelangelo
I've got a 1996 r1100rt, need some touch up paint, specifically for the wheels and color matched lowers near the footpegs. Hoping someone has found a quick, cheap source some? Link to comment

Michelangelo
I'm looking for an easy and cheap route, not something that takes two weeks and $30. Link to comment

Shiny Side Up
Ace Hardware, Home Depot or Lowes - don't expect an "exact match"... Link to comment
Selden
By "color matched lowers near the footpegs" do you mean the metal side plates that anchor the rider and passenger pegs? Rustoleum has a pretty good universal metallic spray paint, and the "titanium silver" color is a pretty close match to the BMW silver metallic. The Rustoleum product is a bit brighter, with more glitter, but it seems to be fairly durable. I painted my valve covers with it ~18 months ago, and they are holding up well. On wheels, I would not expect it to hold up well with tire irons and such when changing tires; for that you really need powder coat, but for ~$7 a can, the Rustoleum is a pretty good solution.
