Doug 55 Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 Hi, Just got a Hero 3 black edition, as in haven't even opened the packaging yet A buddy advised I might like the silver edition better due to less menus / "features" = simpler to use Looking at side by side specs at this site it seems like they are near equivalent and would have similar complexity? http://gopro.com/product-comparison-hero3-cameras TIA for any advice ... Back to reality, I think the operations of the camera are the same, especially if you outfit the Silver with the WiFi remote. Sit down and read the manual, upgrade everything and buy the largest Micro SD card you can afford and go and shoot video. PS: Hope you have a huge hard drive or but a external drive, because before to long, you will be looking for a place to keep all that great video. Link to comment
