Very interesting new "fuse block"

There's a pretty cool new Bluetooth controllable "fuse block" project featured on Engadget

It's a 100% semiconductor based "fuse block" that allows one to control things like max current (analogous to fuse value) turning on/off, and even PWM modulation of each output from a Smartphone.

On a bike I can imagine one could control for example the LED oux light brightness and the power to heated gear using the slick looking phone interface.

Not affiliated in any way. Just though some of you might be interested.
