Mail-order parts suppliers?

Sorry to ask an old question that's been answered previously, but I can't find an answer with the search engine.

 

Now that Chicago BMW sleeps with the fishes, what are good sources for on-line parts? Used parts?

Beemerboneyard is my first stop for parts. They don't carry everything though so then I head to Max BMW for BMW OEM stuff or wagnermotorsport.com who are usually about 10% off BMW list (Max is at BMW list price).

 

Bob's down in MD is good as well.

 

A&S tends to be a slow shipper in my experience (well, slow compared to the others).

I've used both of these for OEM parts for my BMW, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Honda. They are both great, and both have a good parts diagrams to go with the part numbers.

I've had very good luck with Chattanooga BMW at http://www.pandorasmotorsports.com/ . Well set up web site, reasonable prices, no tax etc. They seem to be much more customer oriented than most mail order places.

Don't forget to ask your "local" BMW dealer. I recently ordered a fairly expensive electrical part and asked the parts guy for a break on the price; without hesitation he gave me a 15% discount. No shipping, I picked it up there so I paid sales tax.

I've spent more $$$ at Bob's BMW than I care to admit restoring my /6. They aren't cheap but they have always had every part I needed in stock.
