JerryMather
I was having trouble starting my 1000cc twin Aprilia on a colder morning, so I decided to go ahead and find a replacement with the most Cold Cranking Amps available. I found one that tested out to have 332 CCA! It's a Deka ETX14 that's labeled to have only 220 CCA's but it's reading 110 more CCA's when actually tested with a digital meter. I paid $70 wholesale for it in the SoCal area. Usually the BMW's don't have the starting problems other types of bikes can have but I know a lot of you guys have other bikes in your garage other then BMW's & may want to look into this brand of battery for your others or your BMW. www.dekabatteries.com Link to comment
baggerchris
Well known to the folks over at the Chaingang site for the F650GS singles. Link to comment
racer7
Interesting info but not so new to the well read. Deka has a good rep and does well in comparative tests. Link to comment
