Selden Posted April 6, 2014 Share Posted April 6, 2014 You could try 91% isopropyl alcohol, but powdercoat or repaint is a better solution. I don't have personal experience, but reportedly Duplicolor silver engine enamel is a very close match to the OEM finish: Link to comment
David13 Posted April 6, 2014 Share Posted April 6, 2014 You can try, but I don't think that will clean off. I don't think it's dirt or stain on the surface. Those things are anodized, or powder coated, or some such finish which is very thin. Painting or refinishing is probably the only solution, after trying some cleaners, etc. But I don't think they will work. When you ride your bike, no one will ever notice those spots.
