Was wondering what is new out there, and, according to your experience, what is more reliable these days. I know, an alarm will not deter a professional thief from steeling the bike, it will just make him think a little harder Link to comment
realshelby Posted April 9, 2016 Share Posted April 9, 2016 From my experience ( Houston has some issues with car theft....) alarms are a total waste of money. They won't make a professional think any harder, they will know exactly what to do if an alarm goes off. I suppose having an alarm with no visible tell-tale that it is armed might surprise a few either pros or interested amateurs. But half of an alarms effectiveness is the "flashing light" indicating a state of armed. Link to comment
