Top case for 04 r1150rt

Can some tell me what they would suggest ? I see one on eBay BMW Top case it for 399 plus shipping used. Is there something as good new or used at a lower price? Thanks

I've got a Givi E52 on mine. It's big. You could probably find one for about $300. But, you'd also need the mounting bracket. So you'd likely be pushing 4 bills anyway. I assume you have the BMW rack on there right now?

In the pictures see of the flourescnt "red tab" is still intact on the case.

I have a couple videos posted on YouTube on how to remove the lock cylinder with or without the key so you can re-key it to fit your bike.

No it looks like a universal bracket even if I get the used BMW case I'll need to get the bracket that's another $88

The factory trunk will snap right to it and every RT came with it from the factory.

No other bracket needed.

 

The only exception would be if yours is a converted R1150RT-P,

Done without the rack.
