etwas weniger Fahrrad
Am looking to put lights on the forks of the new F800GT, and while Clearwater makes a bike-specific mount kit for their 2" Darla lights, Denali does not. The more powerful and larger DX units have a U-yoke that fits to both sides of the lights. The smaller D2 lights have a small U-yoke that fits to a stem on one side of the light. Either yoke, with appropriate-length standoff spacer and M6 bolt, should fix to the fork through the fender and into the tapped boss there. Have you got either the D2s or the DXs? How well are things fixed to the forks? Once mounted and aimed and appropriately tightened up, do the lights remain and not get their aim moved by vibration? Show us photos of your setup, close-up on the lights with their fork-mount arrangement, and your on-off switch on the bars. Thanks. Link to comment
JR356
Cant help you with your install questions, but I'm very pleased with the dual beam Denali D4's,great close in lighting for those forested back roads and a good distance beam at the same time. About 1/2 the cost of the Clearwaters. WebBikeWorld.com has a good review. JR356 Link to comment
RTinNC
You should be able to use the fender bolts or the caliper bolts with a longer bolt and spacer. Link to comment
