Hermes
I finally got around to replace my mph speedometer with the km/h speedometer. The replacement procedure was uneventful but I am having unusually high speed reading on the new speedo. Haven't have a chance to compare the speed reading to the GPS speed reading, but is there more to exchanging the speedometer then just throwing in a new instrument?? Any thoughts? Link to comment
Guest Kakugo
If your speedometer is mechanically driven (cable coming from the front wheel) there's really not much to it than swapping. Have you got an ex-police bike by chance? Always remember speedometers on PA bikes are much more accurate than those used on civilian ones. Link to comment
lkraus
Any thoughts? I think you need to specify which bike you are working on. And probably the source for the new speedometer. New, used, different model? Link to comment
