Sarah
Recently bought a 1976 R90/6, went on a ride and the timing plug fell out and was lost, does anyone have hints as to how to keep this attached to bike and not lose? Sarah in CA Link to comment

Sarah in CA I'm thinking the plug that fell out had become stiff and deteriorated thereby losing elasticity needed to retain it's shape and size. A new plug, not a recycled one, will fit snugly and stay in place as designed. Link to comment

Afternoon Sarah Your local BMW dealer should have them (about $2.50). Or put 11 11 1 744 327 plug into E-Bay, they seem to run from about $2.00 to $5.00 or so. Link to comment
