Nav6 query

On the right hand side of the map displayed on my Nav vi I am getting a small icon which is a Red Cross inside a red circle. Any idea what it means?

I think that's the "Stop" or "Cancel Route" button (i.e., stop navigating to the current destination). That's the default "button" for that position, at any rate. There's a menu where you can choose any two of several available buttons to have there for quick access. My choice is "Detour" and "Skip Waypoint". The first for getting around traffic or a closure, and the latter comes in handy when you've programmed a town as a waypoint to force the GPS onto a particular road, but when you get there, it tries to navigate you to city hall when you only wanted to drive by.
